"Ruto Is Trying To Bribe Supreme Court Judges" Miguna Miguna Makes Explosive Allegations On Ruto

Lawyer and activist Miguna Miguna has made an explosive allegation against President William Ruto, claiming that his public support for Justice Njoki Ndung'u's candidacy for a judgeship at the International Criminal Court is not what it appears to be on the surface and is in fact a calculated move to compromise Kenya's Supreme Court ahead of an anticipated presidential election petition in 2027.

Miguna's argument is layered and deliberately provocative. He describes Njoki Ndung'u's ICC candidacy as ill-fated, suggesting it was never a serious or winnable bid. But that, he argues, is precisely the point.

Ruto is not genuinely campaigning for Njoki to win a seat at the ICC. He is using the public spectacle of that campaign to send a message to the Supreme Court judges who will eventually sit on whatever petition follows the 2027 election.

The message, as Miguna reads it, is simple. Support my candidate, play along with my agenda, and remember who has been publicly standing in your corner when it matters most.

It is, in his framing, a bribe dressed up as political support, subtle enough to deny but clear enough for those it is intended for to understand completely.

Miguna went further, alleging that Ruto is already anticipating stealing the 2027 presidential election and is laying the groundwork now to ensure that any legal challenge that follows does not succeed. Securing goodwill or perceived loyalty within the Supreme Court would be a critical part of that strategy.

He closed with a warning directed at Kenyans, do not say you were not told. It was Miguna being Miguna, blunt, unfiltered, and absolutely certain of what he sees happening in plain sight.
