Through a post on his X page he said that if president William Ruto was to choose former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang'i as his running mate the Kisii community would vote for him.
He said that Kenyan people have the problem of supporting their own even when it will not help them.
He said that they are guided by the notion that if one of theirs has been elected then they have benefited as a community.
Morara was using the example to explain why Kenya has always had bad leadership. People tend to vote along tribal lines and forget about integrity and service delivery.
