On Wednesday president William Ruto officially started his tour in Ukambani and he will be there for the remaining part of the week.
He was accompanied by his close allies among them his deputy Kithure Kindiki.
Ruto received a warm welcome from the people of Makueni county where he started his tour.
A video has now surfaced online showing the number of choppers that escorted the president as he was travelling to Ukambani.
As seen by this writer, the choppers landed in Emali and at least 8 helicopters can be spotted landing at the playground and taking off after dropping those who accompanied the president.
The people were then taken away in vehicles that formed the convoy.
Among the choppers spotted are those that belong to KDF and other private ones hired by politicians.
The video has raised mixed reactions from Kenyans with many saying it is a waste of resources by politicians instead of using the funds to help people who are suffering.
