You Brought Us All These Problems: Wahome Slams Ruto Supporters As He Tells Them This

Popular political commentator Wahome Thuku has once again sparked heated debate online after issuing a bold and unapologetic message to Kenyans who voted for President William Samoei Ruto in the 2022 General Election.

In his latest remarks, Wahome reminded voters that the current state of the country is a direct result of the choices they made at the ballot.

Wahome’s statement read;

"Na tukiendelea, please remember you voted for William Samoei Ruto in 2022. I didn't. Never forget that. Stop pretending to be reformers. You did what I will never do till the end of the world. Most of you still have UDA T-shirts in your bedrooms. You brought us to this. And having done it 2022, we are not convinced mmeokoka. We believe you can repeat it 2027.”

According to Wahome, many of the same voters who championed Ruto’s presidency are now expressing dissatisfaction with the government’s direction yet he believes they have not fully accepted responsibility for their role in shaping the current political and economic climate.

He argues that while some voters now claim to be reformed, the sudden shift is hard to trust, especially with the 2027 elections drawing near. Wahome insists that genuine transformation begins with acknowledging past mistakes, not rewriting history.

His remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some Kenyans agreeing that accountability is necessary, while others accuse Wahome of fueling political division at a time when the country is already facing serious challenges.
