According to a video shared today, Farouk Kibet was attending an event at his home in Uasin Gishu when he spotted his alcoholic brother identified as Kiptanui. He was impressed to see him smartly dressed. He introduced him before publicly telling him to later visit him at his house so he can give him Ksh 100000.
"Niko hapa na kijana ndugu yangu anakuanga mlevi lakini ako smart leo. Wapi huyo kijana anaitwa Kiptanui. Amenifurahisha sana." Farouk said.
He went ahead to announce thay he will give him Ksh 100000. However, he lectured his young brother not to misuse the money on alcohol.
"Alafu wewe utapitia nyumbani nikupatie elfu mia moja uache kukaa kaa namna hii." Farouk said causing laughter before lecturing him to put the money into good use.
Other than that, Farouk promised to educate the brother's son who is currently in grade 9 until he completes his education. He also lectured the son to be serious on his education, promising to follow up.
"And you study. Me I beat people who don't focus ahead. Study until you become a doctor. Do you hear? School is important. I don't entertain nonsense" Farouk said when loosely translated from Kalenjin.
