What People Were Spotted Doing To Truphena Muthoni At Night After A Heavy Downpour

The resilience of Truphena Muthoni has touched millions of people across the country and outside as she challenges herself to break a world record of hugging a tree for three consecutive days.

Muthoni is an environmentalist and her challenge is aimed at sensitizing people to protect the environment by planting trees and stopping acts of deforestation.

Her expedition has been met with lots of challenges even as she nears the end of the 72 hours.

She has been camping outside the Nyeri governor's office and locals have been supporting her by ensuring she is not alone.

On Wednesday night there was a heavy downpour in Nyeri and she persevered through until it went down.

However, the cold that followed was too much and locals moved in to help her cope with the freezing temperatures.

As seen in a video shared on TikTok, people brought electric heaters and blow dryers which they held close to her to keep her warm.

Kenyans have praised everyone that came out to support Muthoni in her challenge. People have also been touched by her resilience as there are only a few who can do what she did.
