Her achievement was received with excitement by hundreds of Kenyans that had gone to watch her do the challenge.

No amount of rain or cold would stop her and eventually she broke the record on Thursday afternoon.
Immediately she finished the challenge Muthoni was taken to an ambulance that was waiting close by and rushed to hospital.
This was done to make sure that she was good having endorsed three days with no sleep or food and standing throughout.
Those that had been watching her did not even get a chance to talk to her though she would address them later.
Her story has inspired many people in the country and the African continent at large. From her challenge she has got a lot of gits from well wishers including a three day vacation in Mombasa.
