Wahome Thuku Alleges Who Mobilized The Thousands Of People That Welcomed Ruto In Makueni

The united opposition was on Wednesday left in shock after thousands of people came out to meet president William Ruto as he started his tour of the Ukambani region.

Ruto started his tour in Makueni county where he was welcomed by the county boss Hon. Mutula Kilonzo.

Given that the region is Kalonzo's political backyard, Kenyans were not expecting many people to come out to meet him.

What also shocked many people is the reception Mutula Kilonzo gave Ruto given that he is a member of the Wiper party.

Lawyer Wahome Thuku who is a strong member of the opposition has come out to allege that the thousands of people that came to meet Ruto were mobilized by governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior.

He said Ruto alone would not have attracted such big numbers because the region is strongly behind Kalonzo and the opposition.

Wahome has criticized the governor for welcoming Ruto in his county as it is a betrayal to the Wiper party that has tried not to be associated with the government.
