More Confusion In Jirongo's Death After A Senior Lawyer Revealed What He Noticed In The CCTV

Another conflict has reignited over the death of former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo due to the re-evaluation of CCTV footage coverage by Wahome Thuku and official communication about the involvement of the deceased in the fatal accident that occurred in Naivasha.

According to the renowned lawyer, the CCTV footage released by NTV seems to challenge the explanation issued by DCI. It is evident from the footage that the traffic jam did not exist.

In the footage, it is seen that before the accident occurred, Jirongo gets out of a petrol Station and joins the highway on the right-hand side of the road. It seems that the Mercedes Benz car of Jirongo entered the highway on the wrong side of the road, right in the path of the bus.

This has sparked debate, especially considering that a statement issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is in line with what one can view in the footage from the CCTV cameras.

As per the DCI, preliminary investigations have confirmed that Jirongo drove out of the petrol station and moved on the wrong side of the road, hence resulting in a fatal collision.

Although there have been questions on whether the bus driver told the truth in his first explanation, jurists contend that all attention should now concentrate on facts. The CCTV footage, which contains facts and is said to be objective, has clearly identified what really transpired in the accident.
