Political Expert Drops Bad News For Kalonzo As He Predicts What Might Happen in The 2027 Elections

A renowned political analyst has elicited mixed reactions with his sentiments that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has no chances of unseating President William Samoei Ruto in the 2027 presidential election.

According to the Wahome Thuku, the political landscape, current dynamics of power and trends of voter behaviour are all stacked against Kalonzo’s move to unseat the incumbent.

The lawyer feels that while Kalonzo is sufficiently fired up on the campaign trail and increasingly visible throughout the country, he has not been able to develop the broad based national momentum needed to take on a seating president.

He insists that the incumbency advantage enjoyed by Ruto, his iron grip on pivotal voting blocs and the disunited opposition make it nearly impossible for Kalonzo to mount a winning challenge, at least within the current political landscape.

He further notes that the opposition has struggled to consolidate around a single candidate, making it difficult for any of them to rival the Kenya Kwanza machinery.

Wahome further claims that unless a dramatic change in political events happens, Kalonzo's chances are slim, regardless of his long political career and past experience.

For him, the 2027 contest may be driven less by individual popularity and more by strategy, unity, and ground mobilization-areas where opposition is visibly struggling.
