Popular UDA MP That Was Spotted With Gachagua Shortly After Ndindi Nyoro Cut Ties With Ruto

Nyali Member of Parliament Mohamed Ali has been spotted spending evening moments with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his family in Mombasa, a meeting that has stirred fresh political talks.

Photos circulating online show the MP in a relaxed setting with Gachagua, sparking speculation about shifting political loyalties within the ruling coalition.

The meeting comes barely days after Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro publicly distanced himself from the United Democratic Alliance and President William Ruto’s 2027 plans.

According to sources close to the gathering, the interaction was informal and took place at a private residence along the Coast.

However, the timing has raised eyebrows, especially within President Ruto’s camp, where concerns are growing over possible internal cracks.

Mohamed Ali has in the past been viewed as a close ally of the president, making his appearance with Gachagua politically significant.

Gachagua, who has recently intensified his engagements with leaders across regions, has positioned himself as a central figure in emerging realignments ahead of the next general election.

Political analysts say such meetings, even when described as social, often carry deeper political meaning in Kenya’s charged environment.

The Nyali MP has not issued a formal statement on the meeting, leaving room for speculation on whether it signals a broader shift.

Supporters of Gachagua online welcomed the development, interpreting it as evidence of growing support beyond Mount Kenya.

Meanwhile, allies of President Ruto have downplayed the meeting, insisting it does not amount to a political declaration.
